Ink-tears

Standard

I’m afraid you’ll just be another boy

that I turned to words and

wrote into a poem that always

meant more.

And that in retrospect

I’ll look back

and be grateful for the ink-tears you

left on my pages

the ink tears that made me write beautiful

wonderful

sad

things
